Meeting

A Welcoming place

All those that th dinive Providence leads to the monastery are received by the brothers with respect and humanity.

All the guests who turn up are received like Christ, for he will say some day: "I was your guest and you have received me."
Rule of saint Benedict

At the porter's lodge, a brother receives people looking for information, those who want a mass celebration or make bless some religious items. It is as well possible to ask for a priest for some spiritual interview or confession.

Park

The community is happy to share with those who so desire the spiritual climate of monastic life. Our Guest house can receive retreaters, individuals or small groups, to stay up to 8 days. In the church, in the park or in the privacy of his room, the retreater will have a taste of monastic silence "which is not a simple practice but a grace, a gift of God."

We have at our disposal 12 single and 12 double rooms with washbasins and hot water. Showers and toilets are on the floor. SpeisesaalWe require our guests to keep silent and reverent, and be ponctual at the beginning of meals, which are taken together at the refectory of the hostelry. For the rest, each one is free to do what he wants, to attend liturgic offices; a library is at disposal as well as a park.

Großer Saal

Guests are invited to pay their staying fees to the extent of their possibilities; for information, a full board day costs us roughly 25 €.

We may as well rceive groups in our "Grande Salle" (big room) for meetings and lunches within the frame of a spiritually minded chatting day (with participation to liturgic offices).
